The collection of canned goods and non-perishable items during April's Child Abuse Prevention Walkathon that allowed a generous donation to Balm In Gilead Family Counseling Ministries, South View High School, Greensboro Urban Ministry, Overhills High School, Overhills Middle School
April 25, 2021
April marked the beginning of Child Abuse Prevention Month, a whole month dedicated to spreading awareness of the maltreatment that causes us to lose between four to seven children daily. The walkathon event was used to help spread awareness for the ongoing abuse of children and allow communities to work together to prevent child abuse and neglect.
