JANIQUA OBEY, MSW LCSW CGCS
Founder and Executive Director
Janiqua Obey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of North Carolina. Janiqua earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from NC A&T State University in 2008 and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Military Social Work in 2017. Janiqua also is a US Army Veteran who currently serves as behavioral health provider in the Cumberland and Harnett County Area.
Janiqua developed Help In Hope, Inc. in 2019 from a passion and vision to empower youth through support and mentorship. Janiqua has over 10 years of mental health experience as a direct care provider and psychotherapist. Her current job includes assessing individuals for treatment and services, providing therapeutic care, as well as coordinating and collaborating with support systems to meet individual needs. From her participation in services with youth in various settings, Janiqua developed a want to better the lives of youth by helping them learn how to break generational and lifestyle patterns, teach skills for independency, and instill hope for a better future.
As President and Founder of Help In Hope, Inc. Board, Janiqua brings in a host of skills that allows her to provide leadership, outreach, community relations, and program development.

SASHA BOULDIN, MSW LCSW

Sasha Bouldin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of North Carolina. Sasha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in juvenile justice from North Carolina Central University. Sasha currently provides outpatient therapy and consultation within a primary care office. Sasha has a diverse clinical background, having provided outpatient therapy, intensive in-home, and group therapy for individuals and families with a wide range of mental health diagnoses. Sasha has also provided mental health services in residential treatment facilities and schools.
Sasha Bouldin currently serves as Secretary on the Help in Hope, Inc Board of Directors. Sasha has served on the board since it’s inauguration in January 2020. Many of Sasha’s volunteer and clinical experiences have involved serving youth and their families. Sasha joined the Help In Hope, Inc board directors due to the parallel’s between her own values and the organization’s mission and values. Sasha believes that uplifting our youth allows society as a whole to progress. As a board member, Sasha offers a breadth of knowledge including curriculum development, writing, and engaging with youth and families. As secretary, Sasha offers listening, time management, and organizational skills

ALVIN REYNOLDS, MSW LCSWA

Alvin Reynolds is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in the State of North Carolina. Alvin earned his Bachelor of Social Work degree from Livingstone college in 2017 and matriculated on to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he earned his Master of Social Work degree in 2018. During Alvin’s undergraduate career, he was able to earn membership into Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society and Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society. Alvin has almost four years of experience working with mental health, substance use disorders, homelessness, and case management.
Alvin Reynolds currently serves as Treasurer on the Help in Hope, Inc Board. Alvin has served on the board since January 2020, and has served as Chair of the Finance Committee during his time. Alvin chose to become a member of this board to gain a better understanding of the various challenges our youth are facing today. Alvin is impassioned with being able to help all people obtain better quality of life. Alvin appreciates the skills he has acquired and thrives to ensure he’s meeting people where they are.
As a board member, Alvin brings in a host of well developed leadership skills that have been taught to him from active participation in various organizations. Alvin currently assists with financial development, fundraising, and organizational flow of financial security.
